Finished Snow Treasure Dioramas!
The fourth graders created dioramas showing their favorite scenes from Snow Treasure by Marie Mc Swigan! After creating the dioramas- the students wrote an essay explaining the scene. They also discussed why it was their favorite scene.

MANNA Food Drive
In honor of the season of Lent- the fourth graders organized a service project! The entire school collected different food items to donate to the MANNA food bank in Gaithersburg. Manna is a food pantry for needy people in Montgomery County. Manna prides itself with providing healthy food (low sugar and salt) to people in need. Each class donated items varying from baby food, pasta, rice, cereal, canned fruit and vegetables, coffee, tea, oatmeal, and olive oil.The fourth graders went to the different classes every day and collected the donations.
In math- we added up each class's donations and and created a data chart. We graphed the results and compared the mean, median and mode for the donated items.
We are very proud to be able to help people in our area. Thank you for all the donations St. Jude!
