Class President Projects:
Students Read the story "Class President" by Joanna Hurwitz. This story is about a boy who runs for class president and becomes a true leader for his friends. The fourth graders each wrote a campaign speech explaining why they would make a great leader for their class, and what they loved about our school. They also made suggestions about changes they could make to improve our school. Each student also created a campaign poster for the election. Great work boys and girls!

Happy Thanksgiving Fourth Grade!
Fourth graders created "Turkeys" with brown bags. Each turkey had an Acrostic Poem written on its back. We also wrote creative Thanksgiving Essays.

Our Salt Crystals Grew!
We looked at our salt crystals this week! They were big and beautiful! It took about 3 weeks for the salt crystals to grow- but it was worth the wait!
Thank you Mrs. Hampe for letting us use your microscopes and lab.

Kahoot!
We did two "Kahoots" this week to prepare for our test on the Environment and our religion test. We used IPads- it was fun!

Fourth Grade Celebrates All Saints Day by having a "Saints Wax Museum!"

The fourth graders have worked hard on a research project in religion. They each picked a saint to research. The students read a biography on that saint and wrote a speech on the life of the saint. The students dressed like the saint and participated in our school "All Saints Mass". After mass, we had a wax museum for the saints! The kids did a great job! Thank you to all the parents who helped put this together!
