Science Lab!
Students in the fourth grade are learning about scientific investigation by conducting experiments and collecting information. Fourth graders are analyzing data by weighing food from their lunches on a triple beam balance. Students were broken into four groups. They picked out objects from their lunches to weigh. After students weighed the objects, they recorded the data in a data chart,and added up a total. As a class we then analyzed the data, and recorded the class results. We discussed what objects weighed the most, and which were the lightest. Next we are going to take this data and create a bar graph.
